Stephen Philips - The Air Up There

The journey starts out on a dark desert highway at night, as ravens circle above the rotting corpse of a dead animal. Slowly, prehistoric mechanical drones appear from off in the distance as a stark distant shimmering light begins to appear through the thick morning fog. Daylight appears and we are abandoned in a field of lost memories of a futuristic alien dream world. We are swiftly lifted up through the dense clouds. Is it lack of oxygen or just too much hydrogen. A faint lift into the clouds, then a sudden drop from our lofty heights and we descend rapidly to the bottom of the ocean, or is it deep in a cave far below the surface of the earth. Deep shimmers and shakes and other motionless tremors appear and fade until the motion stops and we are returned to the place where the journey began.
